NTR003 - The Second REAL NTRCEPT Drop

NTR003 - The Second REAL NTRCEPT Drop

NTR003 is probably the most personal collection I've released so far.

Previous drops were built around aircraft, history, and concepts that I found interesting. This one is different. A huge portion of NTR003 is built directly from experiences I've had over the course of this year chasing airplanes with a camera, standing in the Florida heat for hours, and ending up in places I never imagined I'd be.

The centerpiece of the collection is the C-5 Galaxy design.

Earlier this year at Eglin Air Force Base, I heard that a Dover C-5 was scheduled to conduct countermeasures testing somewhere out on the range. The problem was that nobody really knew where it would be visible from, if it would be visible at all, or if photographing it was even realistic.

I decided to try anyway.

After spending the evening driving around and searching for a vantage point, I eventually ended up on top of a hill in Florida, which is somehow harder to find than the airplane itself. Armed with my Sony A7V and 200-600mm lens, I waited.

Then it happened.

A massive C-5 Galaxy lit up the night sky with flares, creating one of the most incredible aviation photography moments I've ever witnessed. The final image was captured at over 20,000 ISO and remains one of my favorite photographs I've ever taken. It felt like a once in a lifetime opportunity, and building merchandise around that experience was something I knew I had to do.

The B-1B Lancer pieces tell a similar story.

Those photographs were captured during the Miami Hyundai Air & Sea Show. The conditions were brutal. South Florida heat, long days, and a camera that never really got a break. But those few seconds when the B-1 rolled through the show made all of it worth it. Some of my favorite aviation photographs from the year came from that weekend, and now they've become part of the collection.

The Thunderbirds "Lock The F**k In" design comes from another event that means a lot to me, Sun 'n Fun. The photograph captures a moment that perfectly matched the mindset behind the phrase. Sometimes the design comes first. Sometimes the photograph comes first. In this case, both happened naturally.

Not every piece in NTR003 comes directly from my photography.

Some designs were built entirely from original artwork and concepts, while others were built around photographs I personally captured. Together they represent everything that makes NTRCEPT what it is today: aviation, photography, military culture, humor, design, and the stories that exist behind the machines.

This collection feels less like a product release and more like a snapshot of the last several months of my life.

Long days at airshows.

Late nights chasing test flights.

Thousands of photos.

Countless hours editing.

And a lot of moments that reminded me why I started doing this in the first place.

I'm incredibly proud of this collection, and I think it's some of the strongest work I've released so far.

Welcome to NTR003.
